We are a well-established, full-service, small animal hospital providing comprehensive medical, surgical, and dental care. We offer digital x-rays and ultrasound. If you're buying these over-the-counter in the human drug section, please double check your labels! Some manufacturers are adding Vitamin D to the glucosamine and chondroitin. It is often labeled as "D3."
This is very dangerous as it can lead to Vitamin D toxicity in dogs. If you are currently giving a G/C supplement to your dog, please check the label - if it contains Vitamin D, please give our office a call to alert your pet's doctor, and we can go from there with what the doctor recommends.
